About

 Firefighter Bill

Bill's fire prevention program was recognized by the Minnesota Fire Chief's Association. Additionally, Bill received a Medal of Achievement for program innovation and leadership in fire prevention from the City of Woodbury Department of Public Safety.

Prevention isn't cheap.

It costs $100 just to send a firefighter into a classroom to show a child what "bunker gear" looks like so the children aren't afraid and don't hide. My own four-year-old was brought to tears the first time she saw me masked up in fire fighting clothing. She insisted it wasn't a person inside those clothes.

It costs $250 to bring a fire engine for children to look at.

It costs $5,000 to spend one hour at each preschool program in the city.

Your financial support, no matter what size, helps.
